Mission Statement
The Pennsylvania Envirothon educates high school students in natural resource and environmental sciences. The program emphasizes the importance of environmental sensitivity while stressing a need to achieve a social , ecologic and economic balance in life. The learning objectives emphasize awareness, knowledge , attitudes and application. The Pennsylvania Envirothon provides future generations with the ability to be better equipped to address the complex natural resource concerns facing today's world as well as the challenges of tomorrow.
Teach Yourself! As you probably know by now, it is very difficult for us to find time where students and teachers can meet to work on our skills related to the envirothon competition. Please spend as much time as you are able reading, watching, experiencing the environmental sciences. I will post videosand reading material whenever possible to help you along.

How It Works
How It Works
Only a handful of people from our school may attend the Union County Envirothon in May (which is a school day so you will be out of classes all day). The spots on the team will be decided by a min-Envirothon like quiz in March. Highest scores go. (5 students from each grade level for a total of 20 students)
We will hold meetings every Tuesday after school to learn about environmental issues and build our knowledge. Wildlife identification, forestry, soil science, aquatics, and more! All meetings are to be held after school Tuesdays and during flex clubs in Mr. Wagner’s room, unless told otherwise.
